Spirit of Faith

Founding Pastors Morcease and Lavern Beasley were led by the Holy Spirit to move to Atlanta, Georgia in 2002. They founded and led Spirit of Faith Ministries in Birmingham, Alabama  from June 4, 1997 until July 31, 2002. After five years of church growth and challenges, they were impressed to appoint Pastors Willie and Felicia Williams to continue the great work in Birmingham and start another church plant in Atlanta, Georgia. They bring with them a dynamic testimony of God’s Apostolic and Prophetic anointing, blessings, spiritual success, and wisdom. As church planters, they have waited patiently for the Lord to plant the new vision in an area the Lord had determined for them. Upon God speaking to their heart to move to the Covington area, they soon realized that many needs existed. Their unique church founding experience coupled with their global vision of ministry and service over time will prove to serve the unique needs of Covington-Atlanta area. Pastor Morcease is a published educational author and  further brings the experience of effective leadership. As an effective school leader, he has had the opportunity to touch thousands of lives with an example of godly leadership, love, vision, and positive organizational change.
